What is your shooting style?

A.I take a natural, yet creative approach to my wedding photography. It is important to me that I capture the true emotion and moments of your day so I won't have you do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
For the ceremony and reception and most of the day, I will be unobtrusive. For the portraits and couple shots I will make suggestions based on light and location, and give guided directions to have you looking your best (so there's no awkward!), but I am all about capturing those natural moments with you being you! My goal is to translate the spirit of your day into photographs you can keep forever.

What are 10 random facts about you?

A.1. I lived in Las Vegas.
2. I am also a commercial photographer (
3. I travelled the world on superyachts.
4. I have a degree in Writing and Directing and a Diploma in Digital Photography.
5. I kissed Steven Tyler.
6. I could eat Tacos every day and I love spicy food.
7. I got held up by militia in the jungle in Panama.
8. I own 200+ pairs of shoes (mostly heels) but now I only live in Converse and Birks!
9. I have two cats called Mila & Louis (Toygers) but I'm really a dog person (kidding - kind of).
10. I don't like having my photo taken (no you're not alone!).

Do you travel and do you shoot destination weddings?

A.Absolutely! I'm based in Martinborough, Wairarapa but I regularly shoot in Auckland, Wellington and Kapiti. I LOVE to travel and discover new places so I'm happy to go anywhere in New Zealand or a destination abroad.
Travel costs may be additional, but let's chat about where you're getting married, as I have accomodation in numerous places.

How many photos do you deliver from a wedding day?

A.Typically 50+ photos per hour. I don't stick to strict numbers however, and prefer to provide as many images as required to tell your story the best way I can.

How long does it take to receive the photographs?

A.For full weddings, between 6 to 10 weeks depending on whether you get married in peak wedding season or not. I have high standards so it is important not to rush when editing as I want your images to be the best they can be for you. Elopements within 4 to 6 weeks.

Will you post photos of our wedding online?

A.I sometimes post one or two photos on social media a day or two after your wedding sneak peek. This is a great way for you and your family and friends to have a fresh memory of your wedding and for me to display recent work.
I love to feature your special day and my work, so after you have received all of your wedding images, I may post some of them on my website and social channels. I also put some weddings on my website as a blog post of special highlights from the day.

Do we need a second shooter?

A.I am confident in photographing a full wedding day on my own, but let me know if you would like a second shooter.
Having a second shooter means more of the in-between moments and guests can be photographed that I may not get the chance to on my own, especially at larger weddings.
Ask me about second shooter rates.

Do you offer videography services?

A.I am a stills photographer but I do work with some talented videographers so let me know if you'd like me to coordinate one.

Can we meet before we book?

A.Yes please! I love to meet up and make sure we are all a good fit for each other! We can either do this in person, or via a video call.

How do we book you?

A.You can get in touch by filling out the contact form here online or just send me an email direct
To secure your wedding date I require a booking fee and a signed contract. It can all be done online. Easy!
